“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing, there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.”
- Rumi (translated by Kabir Helminski)
Welcome
Mens Fieldwork is a connection-valued space for men beyond blame, shame, self-righteousness, or confusion. Where men speak honestly, are met with compassion, connection, and take practical steps to move forward.
I have prepared a short video to give you a sense of who I am and how the Fieldwork approach is structured.
Counselling for men who want more than just talking.
I’m Moaz Choudhury, an Ontario Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting families, individuals, children & youth through crisis, conflict, and major life transitions.
Throughout my career, I have seen how much men carry alone - stress, relationship conflicts, responsibilities, fatherhood, uncertainties - often without a place to speak honestly.
At Mens Fieldwork, I hold a safe and trusted space where men can talk openly and be met with care, compassion, connection, and respect.
More than Counselling,
Fieldwork is a Whole Eco-system.
How Fieldwork Works
STEP 1 - CONVERSATION
Schedule a free 15-minute call to briefly share what brings you here. We answer any questions about the process.
There is no pressure to continue - the goal is to see if this feels like a good fit.
STEP 2 - INDIVIDUAL WORK (FIELDWORK) - Virtual
Focused individual sessions working to clarify what you are facing and where to move forward.
The work is not open-ended, it is focused and intentional. Many men find progress within 3-8 sessions.
STEP 3 - INTEGRATION (FIELDWORK GROUP) - Virtual + In-Person
Invitation to continue into our 8-week integration group: cohorts run at specific periods throughout the year.
This is a closed group capped at 6 people, for those who wish to go deeper. A connection-valued model designed for reflection, accountability, and integration.
STEP 4 - CONSOLIDATION (FIELDWORK RETREAT) -
In-Person
A one-day, in-person nature retreat after completion of the 8-week group.
This day retreat serves as a consolidation of the wellness journey.
There is no obligation to move throughout the whole Fieldwork system (or even needing to have a clear decision upfront)

Individual Sessions
Most clients average between 3-8 individual sessions.
Payment is due at the time of each session.
$50 deposit is required to secure your booking (applied toward your session fee).
Appointments require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; otherwise, the $50 deposit will be retained.
A limited number of reduced-fee spaces are also available.
Fieldwork Group
A structured 8-week group experience, designed to be completed from beginning to end with the same group of men.
$200 due at registration to reserve spot
$200 due before Week 4 to continue through the remainder of the program.
You may also pay the full amount upfront.
The payment structure supports staying engaged throughout the full process, especially since growth is a journey that has challenges along the way.
Spaces are limited to support a consistent and meaningful group experience.
Why Short-Term?
Many men do not want to be locked into endless therapy. And truthfully, many do not need it.
Overall, I believe in holding space for practical work so you leave with clarity, not dependency. My aim is for focused sessions to understand your situation, clarify your direction, and take practical steps forwards.
Most men complete individual Fieldwork in 3-8 sessions - often within their extended insurance coverage - and leave with clear direction and practical tools.
After a period of time with individual counselling (usually after 4-5 sessions), you have the option of further integrating your journey through our Mens Fieldwork Group - available through a screening process.
There is no obligation to move through all the stages of the Fieldwork system.
About Me
I have spent the past decade working in child welfare, in working with individuals and families with complex trauma facing crisis, conflict, and change. That experience has taught me how important it is for men to have a dedicated space for reflection, processing, and receiving support in moving forwards.
I am a husband and father of 4. I understand how heavy life can feel when responsibility builds quietly over time.
I believe in counselling that is much more than skills and techniques, but a connection-based approach that is transformative when approached as a partnership. I treat counselling is a reflective process that supports through presence and attention. Likewise, I bring over 2 decades of personal growth experience to our journey together.
My goal is simple: to meet you with care and compassion, and act as a space holder to help you move forwards.
